Health teas~
It is currently autumn, also known as the season of sore throats and common colds.
Because of that, I decided to put together these little recipes of teas for different health issues~
Sore throat tea
Probably the most common issue faced during autumn and winter
~Ingredients~
- Chamomile for soothing
- Honey for soothing
- Rose for protection
- Milk for soothing
- Lavender for calm
Optional: add blackcurrant for extra soothing
Headache relief
With the stress of school or work and a lack of water it’s easy to get a headache
~Ingredients~
- Lemon balm against exhaustion
- Rosemary as a slight pain reliever
- Mint for blood circulation
Common cold tea
For when you’re just not feeling your best
~Ingredients~
- Chamomile as an antipyretic
- Nettle against infection
- Calendula as a diaphoretic
- Fennel against infection
- Honey for soothing
Irritating coughs
When it gets cold coughs are abundant, so keep warm and try to take it easy on your voice~
~Ingredients~
- Raspberry leaves against irritation
- Chamomile for soothing
- Thyme against infections and coughing
- Honey for soothing
